My name is Gordon Friedman. I am a 17-year resident of the Bay Area with a deep connection to the city of San Francisco and the natural beauty which surrounds it. As a successful loan consultant with Guarantee Mortgage, I offer expertise in loans for the purchase and refinancing of condominiums, single-family homes, and 1- to 4-unit properties. I also specialize in financing for tenancies in common (TIC's).

Before working as a mortgage broker I earned an M.B.A. in Finance from George Washington University and gained plenty of on-the-job experience as an institutional investment consultant. Both my professional and personal undertakings have helped me understand the particularities of the San Francisco real estate market. I was a one-third owner of a TIC (Tenancy in Common) in San Francisco for six years, That experience gave me a wealth of firsthand knowledge about this common form of ownership in San Francisco. After my partners and I converted the property to condominiums I sold my unit and purchased a home just north of San Francisco in Mill Valley where I live with my wife Jane and my son Miller.

My goal for each client is to structure a deal that fits that person's unique situation. To do so I pay close attention to a client's current financial means as well as their long-term financial goals. I then oversee all of the financing details so that the client-realtor team can manage the other important elements of buying a home. In order to act as the best possible resource for my clients and their realtors, I have built a dependable network of appraisers and other vendors who help ensure that every deal closes smoothly and on time.

As a homeowner I take pride in my community. I am on the Board of Directors of Plan C, a local organization that strives to improve the quality of life for all San Francisco residents.
